The registration for the UPSC civil services examination (prelims), 2019 is on from 19th February. The aspirants can explore the official site of the UPSC examination. This online window delivers preliminary information over how to register and apply for the IAS/IPS/IFS jobs in the government sector.
The previous year recorded nearly 4 lakh applicants who
applied for this prestigious govt job. Out of these, nearly 10,000 candidates
lived up to the requisite marking scale, i.e. 33%. The subsequent stage
recorded 5% of those who cracked through the prelims round.
The candidates should attend important dates for not-to-skip
the deadline for registering with. It reads 19th February, 2019 as a
beginning date for filling application form. The last date to apply is 18th
March, 2019 till 6:00 PM. The date for uploading requisite documents is 19th
February, 2019.

Here are the steps to register for the examination:

Browse https://upsconline.nic.in/
·
A link-“Online application for various
examination of UPSC” will pop up.
·
The click will redirect to a new web page
wherein Part I Registration Form will be given. Read Notice no 04/2019-CSP and
05/2019-IFS.
·
An instruction page will be there on the screen.
Read all instructions carefully. Click on ‘Agree’ subsequently.
·
Fill the requisite information in the blanks.
·
Once you have completed that page of the form,
hit the ‘Continue’ tab at the bottom.
·
You can apply for the age relaxation on the next
page, if you’re eligible.
·
Click ‘Continue’ tab again at the bottom of that
page.
·
Upload requisite proofs, including ID proof,
mark sheet of graduation level etc..
·
The next step is to select the examination
centre for appearing in the UPSC CS prelims, 2019.
·
If the candidate has filled the form for IFS,
he/she has to fill in the details of the intended centre for appearing in.
Also, he/she should type the optional subjects for the IFoS (Main) examination.
At the later stage, no alteration would be entertained.
·
Hit the ‘Continue’ button at the bottom again.
If review and editing is required, click ‘Update’ tab.

At the end, hit the ‘Agree’ button to complete
the details of Part 1 registration for the UPSC civil services preliminary
examination.
This action will save the filled information. The registration ID would
be generated at this stage for the candidates.

For going through Registration Part 2, type https://upsconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php
·
The payment option will be there. Pay as per the
fee criteria.
·
Afterwards, upload the photograph, signature and
photo ID, meeting the norms given in the instructions.
·
The registration Part 2 will wrap up on a
‘Declaration’ for the candidates. Go through it thoroughly before clicking on
‘I have read declaration & agree’.
·
Finally submit the application form.
The candidates should go through the age criteria. Apart
from that, the candidates should undergo a fresh registration process if they
want to revise the details. They can opt out Hindi or English version.
Thereafter, the candidates should appear in this examination in two parts, i.e.
prelims and mains.
